Louisiana State University Campus
LSU operates with the main campus at Baton Rouge and eight other campuses with the main campus taking up to 1,000 acres and the whole campuses taking up to 2,000 in total.
The school has 16 academic buildings, 15 student residential buildings, two sports facilities, 27 points of interest and nine student life buildings.
There are more than 450 student organizations at LSU
80% of freshmen live in campus-owned housings.
LSU has in 21 varsity sports teams of which 9 mens and 12 womens. The teams are also members of the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) and the Southeastern Conference.
