    Indexed Tuition is a tuition rate that is customized according to each family’s financial ability to contribute to their educational expenses. It provides a welcoming way for families to join our community from a wide variety of economic backgrounds.

    To begin your Indexed Tuition application for the 2022-23 enrollment year, please follow these steps:

  • By January 6, 2022, complete the Parents’ Financial Statement with School and Student Services (SSS) and upload a complete copy of your 2020 tax return (1040, including all forms and schedules). Note that the Parents’ Financial Statement for the 2022-2023 school year will not be available until September 2021. Please do not complete the form for the 2021-2021 school year. Each household is required to submit a separate PFS.
  • San Domenico School Code: 7084
  • By February 15, 2022, upload a complete copy of your 2021 tax return (1040, including all forms and schedules) and W-2s, if applicable, to SSS. If waiting on a K-1 requires you to file an extension, please upload a draft 2021 tax return clearly marked “Draft” or “Estimate.”If you have either an s-corp. or a partnership on Schedule E of your return, please upload directly to SSS the K-1 and corresponding Forms 1120-S (s-corp.) or 1065 (partnership). Since these documents are not “required” within SSS, please upload them as “Additional Documents.”

  • Conversations with families regarding tuition and affordability are managed with respect and confidentiality
  • Tuition at the top of the index still does not cover the actual cost of a San Domenico education so every student’s tuition is indexed to some degree. The Indexed tuition budget is comprised of funds from the annual operating budget as well as income from endowment.
  • Families must apply for Indexed Tuition each year however the index rarely shifts unless there is a significant change in a family’s ability to pay.
